A Karta Polaka allows its holder to apply for a free National Visa (Type D) to enter Poland.

This visa is issued specifically to holders of a valid Karta Polaka and allows multiple entries to Poland. It also gives the right to work in Poland without obtaining a work permit.

Obtain a Karta Polaka (How to Get a Karta Polaka)
Prepare the Required Documents (see list below)
Book a Visa Appointment through e-Konsulat or the Polish Visa Application Centre (VFS Global)
Attend the Appointment and Submit Your Documents
Wait for the Visa Decision (up to 30 days)

📑 Required Documents

Completed Visa Application Form (you fill in the form when you apply for a visa throught e-Konsulat)
Valid Passport (original + copy)
Document confirming that you are legally resident within the consular district of the embassy to which you are applying for a visa
Valid Karta Polaka (origianl + copy)
Two Passport Photos (3.5 × 4.5 cm)

The National Visa for Karta Polaka holders is free of charge.

💻 How to Complete a Visa Application via e-Konsulat

1) Go to https://secure.e-konsulat.gov.pl and choose your country

3) Complete the Captcha

4) Download and print out the application form. Complete the form and book an appointment at Polish Embassy or VFS Global Visa Centre
